While some of the topics we discuss are serious matters of mental and physical health, I wanted the site name to be lighthearted and fun. "Squished" seemed like the perfect fit, capturing the feeling of being overwhelmed by the countless issues that affect our well-being.

From a young age, I felt overwhelmed by life's responsibilities. Cooking, cleaning, working, maintaining relationships, starting a family, and juggling career and education were a recipe for burnout.
